The Strength of the Tides community acknowledges the land, waters and first peoples who established a proud fishing, maritime and waterfront culture where much of our organizing takes place. As an organization and as individuals, we wish and work to nurture a relationship with our Indigenous neighbors through shared stewardship and responsibility to the places of their homelands where we all reside (and fish) today.
